As a Pennsylvania Constable, our fees are set by legislation—and we have been operating on the same outdated fee schedule for over 20 years! In 2025, with rising costs across the board, this is simply unsustainable.
Unlike employees of a company, Constables are elected officials, which means we do not receive benefits like paid time off, medical coverage, retirement plans, or overtime pay. Every task we perform is fee-based, and with inflation and increasing expenses, continuing to work under a decades-old fee bill puts a strain not only on me but on all constables across the Commonwealth.
This petition is about fairness, sustainability, and ensuring that Pennsylvania Constables can continue serving our communities effectively.
